Prometheus, a villain in The CW's Arrow, is a mantle taken up by two distinct individuals seeking vengeance against Oliver Queen.
Adrian Chase, the first Prometheus (portrayed by Josh Segarra), is the District Attorney of Star City. Secretly, he's the son of Justin Claybourne, a businessman killed by Oliver Queen during his early days as The Hood. Chase underwent extensive training, both physical and mental, to become a lethal adversary mirroring and surpassing Oliver's skills. He systematically dismantled Oliver's life, targeting his team and loved ones, aiming to prove Oliver was a killer at heart.
Ricardo Diaz, also known as the Dragon, briefly uses the Prometheus mantle. He is a ruthless crime lord who takes control of Star City after the departure of Adrian Chase. Though adopting the name, Diaz's motivations are primarily focused on consolidating power rather than personal revenge against Oliver Queen like Chase.
